		Dynamite Joint Recordings ? Euh, sorry, never heard of ... Spirit of the sun isn't a very eye-catching title either. The identification DYN CD 001 reveals this could be the very first release of this UK based label. Nevertheless, Dynamite Joint Recordings cleverly puts the names Kerri Chandler and St. Germain at the bottom of the CD cover and this attracts our attention, as both are high quality standards in classy deephouze. The compilation opens with Jerome and Kerri, Espiritu du tempo, followed by St. Germain Soul Salsa Soul. It doesn't take much to feel your clothes disappear, to feel sand of the beach under your feet, to feel a gloomy orange sun going under at the seemingly endless ocean and to feel your spirit lifted by infectious smoothly dancing and wiggling local beauties. As latin as a houze groove can be and as deep as a samba can be, this blend is warm, I mean hot!
