V.A.
People's Choice
People
Patrick Forge, who is already a well known for his compilation on BBE has another warm surprise for us, groove aficionados. And if Patrick decides to compile some tracks, we know he only goes for the best. The theme and mood is set for warm latin jazz influenced traditional percussive groove jams. A closer look at the track listing reveals :

Frankie Valentine : Junkie Blues
- Percussive moody latin samba
Back to earth : Motor launch 4 hire
- Even more percussive and moody with some jazz ingredients added
Bah Samba : So tired of waiting
- Classy & dreamy panflute based track that looks like an everlasting intro
Bougie Soliterre : Got the bug
- Warm jazzhouse with a very catchy repetitive keyboard gimmick
Electric Soul : Wateva
- Straightforward deephouze with sharp low bouncing dancefloor hooks
Oddworks : Body language ep
- Nice dreamy latin drumsets on deep groove
Weekender : Lost in the loft
- Classic jazzfunkhouze with atmospheric chords
Modaji : Outboard jeopardy
- Simply the best track, featuring superb long dreamy moogs taking your mind far away
Disorient : Homeward ep
- Very deep driving midtempo bass painted with dito moogs. Yes, moody, atmospheric and highly recommended
Idjut Boys : Jesta funk
- A killer woofer testing bass, but a little too uninspired compared to the other selections. Where is the ground breaking Idjut Boys music they created 2 years ago ?

There is no doubt, People's Choice is an essential home listening
deephouze experience. The tracks will be rarely heard on any dancefloor,
but drive so much more minds into spacey regions at home. People's Choice is released on People Records, only featuring one track of the famous People 12" series , so a welcome addition to the high standard People releases.
