I received two mix cd's a few weeks ago ... I didn't know both of the
artist. The only thing I know is Fabric. I think it's a big club in the
UK. I heard they have a quite good reputation so I suppose these DJ's will be
there the masters at work. Anyway I must be honest the mixes on the cd's are
cool but the style isn't really my cup of tea, I mean it's quit good but not
really my style.. I'm sure if you are into this music, this tracks and mixes are the high
standards for this scene! Liquid Todd: Solid State reminded me of the time I was listening to the early prodigy stuff from the early 90s ... I mean it's my personal evaluation of it. It's a mixture between techno and break-beats and all in all it's a very fine mix! So if you are into this music, run to your store and ask for it. Ali B Fabriclive.02 is also very cool. Of the two CD's I prefer this one ... for me it's more chilled. Ali B.'s mix style is also very cool and funny, respect! His music selection is also very fine! I think they sure going to have success with this mix CD. It's going to appeal to a lot of people who are fan of this scene and music. So my overall impression is: mixes are very fine, music selection too, my personal feelings is I like it more to the softer way... Thanks again Scot (Takeout Music) for sending your cool CD's!!
