  75moods (Ralph Lock & F.Huber) the d.t. ep incl. dixon remix (patt02) PATTRECORDINGS 2001

Finaly, here the review of the last PATTRECORDING (patt02) produced by 75moods with head actor ralph!!! I learn too know this label and records in the cellar in Wally's Groove World in Antwerp, after putting that thing in one of my charts i ahd a reaction of Ralph Lock himself and after it he send me an other release of him that was really cool and so I decided to write about it! (see previous review). Than I still ahd contact with Ralph and every time he asked me , yeah man you ahve to come over...etc... So over tree weeks we did and it was realy realy great to meet ralph in berlin, strange City strange people..... I had a fucking idea of Berlin like: hardwax , ellen alien, blake baxter... but afther my trip I realized I was wrong.... There are more deeper things in this city taht I can explain, those who been there know what I mean, but I stillr econize it's a strange city.... Ezboy and me have been in the head-quarter of PATT , was realy funky!! THX to Christina BTW for the hospitality! Yeah Ralph realy rocks... but that's nothing about the record!!! So first of all the record is lot's deeper than the previous things I hear of 75moods.Also is there live orchestration in it.. flute, trumpet etc... shouts to the musician and ralph for the composition! If you like deep, deep stuff with some deep-house vibes in it, this is the a killer ep for you!!! The first track: d.t.-main mix, is my favorite, lot's of flute , piano... I received this record before my trip, but I ahve to say when i hear it.. I see the streets of Berlin east and west... so diferent and also in harmony... lot's of intrument variation in it, very deep... have to have track! The second track: Black Dog.... aslo very cool! like the gitar in it!!! wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmm funky!!! Thrid track: d.t. dixons alternativ version is a nice remake of the track by Dixon, respect for hes re-worked version! 4th track: d.t. long version is just a long version of the first track, also very nice!!
