Recycle Kitchen Part XVII :
Chocolate cookies with strawberry filling, surpise sauce and cream soda

Get your last bits of seventies stuff out of the basement, you can use all those pieces you thought wasted for some cheap yet extremely refreshing retro-cooking ! For those who don't have a basement full of stuff, we used the 'Different Flavours-All You Ever Need As Ingredients' handypack from Compost Kitchen Requisites in this recipe as a guideline. You can always go looking for some original ingredients but this all in one package should fill all needs for those new to 70's recycling cooking.

Ingredients :
the 'Different Flavours-All You Ever Need As Ingredients' handypack (available at your nearest drugstore)
2 tea spoons of Syrup
2 freshly bought turntables
1 kg. of headphones
6 pair of speakers, seperately packed
1 decent woofer of approx. 3,5 kg

Step 1 : the chocolate bottom
We start out immediately with one of the most important ingredients : 'chocolate'. This has to be extremely black chocolate. You will find the one in the package to have just the right percentage of pureness, tasting so funky you would swear it was original 70's chocolate. Something we will find with more ingredients, highlighting the quality of this package.
Now for the chocolate : mold them into flat cylindres and press them firmly against the side of your turntables. Don't underestimate the amount of chocolate you'll need to get round two turntables !

Step 2 : the strawberry filling
For the filling, we could use the 'connection' mixture from the package, but for a better blend ('connection' is more an 80's brand) the 'strawberry' will do fine. You can use the 'sandwich caddy' for a more spicy filling to suit your own taste. Pour the filling on your turntables and make sure it doesn't spill over the chocolate borders. Let the cookies stiffen by spinning them at 33.3 rotations per minute.

Step 3 : the suprise sauce
Lift the first plate from your package and you'll find a whole array of colourfoul ingredients for the sauce. This line of products is called 'sweat shop', is designed by syrup in cooperation with Bassline Members and contains such flavours as deep house and tropical mixtures alongside the package main 70's funk flavour. A welcome variation that can be composed by using your own imagination. Just make sure the volume is adequately adjusted in order to shake the sweats to a thick substance. The aptly called 'sink mess' can be added to ensure the minimum percentage of fatness is reached. Let the substance harden on the cookies by pouring it while the turntables are still spinning. No need to stir.

Step 4 : the icecubes
'Maple' by OCB is designed to add a more modern touch to the sauce but you can leave it out since it isn't essential for the succes of your cooking. Instead, be sure to put the 'discontinue' funky fluid in icecube forms and into your freezer. When frozen, fill up a glass with them and throw in a can of cream soda.

Step 5 : presentation
Carefully lift the two cookies from the turntables, then slowly place them side by side. Ready ! Smash the two cookies against each other, splattering the sauce all over the kitchen, then throw the icecubes, the cream soda, hell the whole glass in between the cookies, press hard, launching icecubes in all directions and take a big bite ! Bon appetit ! 70's quality flashbacks guaranteed !
