Yeah! More French stuff like my previous review of Dj Deep & Dino and Terry. Rotax is a french label and it rocks... all kind of Jazzy-french-deep-house. Respect to the guys of the rotax label!
This is a long story ...
We were driving to Swiss and we remembered the last time when we've been in Strasbourg (France at the German border) in april, there was a very cool radio station called RBS! The previous time they played St-germain and Deep-stuff! This time we heard more funky stuff like "Nights over Egypt", very cool record by the way. And we also heard this Rotax. The radio-host said it's Teddy G on Rotax, ezboy and I were entranced by this record! wahhhhhhh.
Say vegin was very cool at that moment and answered us very cool: I have this record, found it a few weeks ago, but I forgot to mention it to you guys???? Fuck the bastard how can you forgot a record like that, but okey no problem ... now we know the record!  :-)
When we arrived in swiss, I found one copy in ZigZag, the shop where Oli4 works. Great! Ez was disapointed, but finally we found a copy in Bern for him.

And now the record itself:
The first track Hutchinson issss verrrryyyyyy deep ... too deep. Old jazzy sound with an infernal slow deep-house bass.
This is a killer track, just buy this record, this track has the vibe, respect to teddy G. for this amazing track!
The second track on the a side is also jazzy with a stepping bass and a female vocal that says: 'the soul'... yeahhh the soul of this track is...hmmm no words for it!

On the B side there is only one track called: Brasilian city mix, this is a rather typical deep-house track but very good quality. A good bass with moogs and kind of little high sounds, piano etc... a track with sprit!

So you have listen to this Rotax..... a Freestyle approved record!

Howard (31/08/2000)
