Freestyle review: Keith Kene

Keith Kene Rumor Has It ... Mixtape		We don't normally review mixtapes at the Freestyle website, but for this one we're happy to make an exception! Keith Kene is a dj form Boston who plays at local parties and clubs. He's got a real good technique and sense of rhythm, his mixes are very fluid! But let's not forget the most important part: the music. Swingin' deep-house with a lot of jazzy influences and uplifting garage vocals from time to time. There's no tracklisting, but we've discovered some tracks by Kevin Yost, Iz & Diz, etc ... This is how we like it, this tape is perfect for car-tripping and we've spent many pleasant hours while driving to record shops or parties with Keith Kenes mixes coming out of the speakers! We really hope he'll be able to come dj to Europe once, so we can experience his performance during a real underground deeeeeeep-house party !! Say Vegin jan 2000
