Forget "The More I get" and "Love Music", the two garage house cuts of this album. They're ok, but that's about all. The East West Connection album gets so much more interesting with all other tracks! Take Cuppa Cinno, brazil sunny uptempo paced instrumental groover à la carte, or "Three's a crowd", made interesting by jazzy trumpets and wicked drums for a easy going jazzfunk. There is more : Rollin', Surgical Spirirt, Son and Two Worlds. One for one, mid tempo paced urban grooves and one for one made interesting by be it piano, flute, a bass guitar, synths, strings. East West Connection brings quality instrumental grooves here, full of jazz and latin elements that will get your interest. Nothing weird or extraordinary or futuristic though. If you're in for classy, nice and moody grooves, this album is well worth checking out!
