Rebel's quest for old-skool joy in contemporary grooves :

Jimi Tenor : europa : Warp (originally released on Säkho) (see review) Picked-out-of-the-back-catalogue-essential-classic-synth-jazz-masterpiece. 3. Marden Hill : honeydipped : Delancey Street This one is steamin' jazzdance with smooth keyboard tunes and -ouch!-slide-bass licks. 4. Weekender : sunday session : Toko Lay-down Toko track with the sunday atmosphere shining through. I luv B-sides on deep house records. 5. Attaboy : bursted wagon : Toko More Toko-downbeat. This one's more for the thursday afternoons (don't ask me why).
